My journey has begun! I am currently sitting in Logan, waiting at my gate, after getting through security faster than I ever have before, besides in Minneapolis’ Humphrey terminal. The only wait I had was about 3 minutes to go through security. Today, for the first time, I was pulled aside to go through one of the full body scanners, but after E+M in the spring, I knew that there was no need to worry about the effects of radiation.
My flight is supposed to take off in a little over an hour, and then I’ll be on my way to London! From there, I’ll get my baggage and wait overnight before going through security again. In the morning, I will hop on a quick flight over to Paris, then after a short layover at CDG, will be on my way to Madagascar!
I got home from Minnesota on the 12th, and while home, went out lots of shopping trips to make sure that I had everything for this trip and visited with some people. I was also able to go to a Red Sox game and visit my grandma, and then yesterday came out to Boston with my dad where I was able to meet up with Alex for dinner! Then, after sleeping for a few hours, it was off to the airport and here I am!
I'll update again as soon as I can, but who knows where in the world I'll be at that point? London? Madagascar?
See you all in December!
